a windy evening.

This past Tuesday... I went to see The Lumineers at The Great Saltair. There was a lot of waiting. The first opening act, Dr. Dog,  played and they were probably the best opening act I've ever heard. A half hour later the second opening act played, and they weren't that good. But they got stopped in the middle of their song and then one of the guys in charge said that it was really windy so they were gonna lower the stage and then we'd start again. Thirty minutes later, he says that the stage is unsafe because of how windy it is, but The Lumineers still want to do their show. So we had to wait forty-five minutes for them to transform the balcony into a stage. So The Lumineers played five songs (including their new one which is so adorable!) And then the people in charge decided that the weather was too crazy so they canceled the show. 

So yah, that was sad. But it was still a lot of fun to hear the music we did. And the sunset was really pretty so I took a lot of pictures of it.
