running: not just for exercise.

Once upon a time there was this kid who woke up in this big metal box. When the top of the big metal box opened up he saw to other teenage boys who lifted him up out of the box. This kids name was Thomas. Thomas is soon to discover that he has just arrived in a place called The Glade. There are only boys in The Glade and every thirty days, a new boy arrives, without any memory of who he is or how he got there. The Glade is actually the center of a big giant maze.  The boys in The Glade are committed to solve the maze in order to escape. In an attempt to discover an exit they send runners to map out the maze. The next day after Thomas arrives in The Glade, the big metal box brings up another person, this time, a girl. Other than his name Thomas only knows two things for sure; one, he is meant to be a maze runner.  Two, somehow he is connected to this girl and he knows that the message she brings will change everything...

This was a super good book. Crazy suspenseful, and crazy mysterious! The author does that thing where he ends every chapter with a shocking new piece of information. So it's impossible to put it down because when you get to the end of the chapter you have to read the next one to see what's going to happen! And then when you get to the end you're like what in the world just happened???
