So everyone's heard that "thrift shop" song right. Yah ok, it's pretty upbeat and cool. But Macklemore and Ryan Lewis have so many better songs. Some people are like "eww. Gross. no more rap." But Macklemore is the only rap artist I ever listen to. His songs are so philosophical and every single one has an amazing, meaningful message. I can't pick a favorite one because they're all just great. Although I'm gonna have to say one of my favorite ones, "Other Side". "Other Side" is a song about Macklemore's drug addiction that he has gotten over. One of the reasons why it's just a great song is because everything that he raps about is genuine, from his own experiences. And of cousrse Ben and Ryan are also amazing because they're just goofy ass dudes. Their goofy songs are great too, like, "Gold" and "Stay At Home Dad". And even their fun upbeat songs have a deeper meaning.
